I decided to create a new topic for this blog called Digital Signage FAIL that showcases what can go wrong if you don’t use the right company or when businesses decide to go DIY. We will not be naming any companies/businesses or the location of where the photo’s were taken but we just want to highlight what went wrong, possible ways to remedy the problem and how to possibly avoid the same issue.
So to kick off the first post, have a look at this picture:
FAIL FEATURES
If you look at the bracket, it is much wider than the screen. The bracket sticks out on both sides of the screen which makes the solution look very unprofessional. FAIL!
SUGGESTIONS/RECOMMENDATIONS
Replace to a larger screen.
Measure the screen and ensure that the width of the screen is longer than the bracket, whether the screen is installed in landscape or portrait.
If you have seen or would like to share a FAIL photo with the rest of the digital signage community please send it to info @ digitalsignageblog.com
Please also include the FAIL FEATURES and SUGGESTIONS/RECOMMENDATIONS
NOTE: We will not be naming any companies/businesses or the location of where the photo’s were taken but we just want to highlight what went wrong, possible ways to remedy the problem and how to possibly avoid the same issue.
