Have you ever wondered how a melted screen looks like?
We were given this photo of a take away store that had their digital menu screens burnt in a fire.
This is our last post for the Year. We hope you enjoyed reading our digital signage blog articles and hope you revisit us in 2014. Until then have a Happy New Year.

Melted Screens (RIP – dead screens)
Missing Brackets
SUGGESTIONS/RECOMMENDATIONS
There’s really not much that you can do when the place is on fire. Even using IP rated enclosures the screens will not be protected in a fire.
All you can do is make sure that your screens are covered in your insurance policies.
If you have seen or would like to share a FAIL photo with the rest of the digital signage community please send it to info @ digitalsignageblog.com
Please also include the FAIL FEATURES and SUGGESTIONS/RECOMMENDATIONS
NOTE: We will not be naming any companies/businesses or the location of where the photo’s were taken but we just want to highlight what went wrong, possible ways to remedy the problem and how to possibly avoid the same issue.
